Google's no good when there's only 2 words and you can't remember any

I've got a silly song stuck in my head. It's only got two proper words and I can't remember either of them

I picture Peter Cook and Dudley Moore singing it and it goes...

Something the something
something the something
Oh something the something
Oh something the something
[whistled refrain]
oh something oh something the something

i've got Robin the Hood stuck at the moment but its not that. Any help?

you seem to remember the rhythm, so do you know how many syllables the mystery words contain?

PS: it starts at 1:24 on that clip, they're dressed like Robin Hood, and I'm fairly certain that's it.

Heh. A few years back I was typing a letter to a boss, whose name was Schneider. MS Word didn't recognize "Schneider" and suggested "schizophrenic". I was tempted.
