How to find Mefites in a specific location? I want to find all Mefites in Panama City, Panama. Is it possible to do this; if so, how? Thanks, Terence from Texas

This post was deleted for the following reason: Like the folks said, site-specific questions should go over in Metatalk. No big deal, it happens. -- cortex

Change your own "Location" to reflect the coordinates for Panama City, then go to your own profile and click on "MeFites nearby". Remove coordinates afterwards if desired.

(This seems better suited for MeTa, but eh.)

First, you should ask this in MetaTalk, which is linked at the top of your screen. That's the place for questions and comments about MetaFilter itself. Your post here will most likely be deleted very quickly because it breaks the rules of the site.

Second, you can click your own name below your post, which will take you to your profile page. On your profile page is a list of usernames near you; it's over on the right hand side near the bottom.

Third, signing your posts is considered unnecessary and a little silly here, since your name appears right below everything you write.

Best answer: Fourth: Welcome to the site! Sorry you're going to get a bit of a rough introduction here.
