Anyone know what's up with MT copying the Blogger bar? I first noticed the blogger bar on evhead a couple weeks ago. Then this morning, I see a MT Bar on #1's own site and it is almost exactly the same! What's up with that? (links go to screen caps of the two sites with the bar)

Is this any MT blog? I can understand the blogspot sites doing this, since they're hosting it for free, but on MT sites it seems a little more invasive.. Looks like simple monkey-see monkey-do to me, though.

Have you seen the MT-bar on any other MT blogs? It could just be matt's poking fun.

Looks like a joke to me. Check Matt's source code -- the image is in his junkdrawer directory, the divs and such are all still called, e.g., "b-search" and "b-query", the "get your own blog [fuckwit]" button still points to Blogger, and the "next" button is hardcoded to go to Anil's site (I presume his bar will appear momentarily). That cwazy wascal.

Ah, rather, the button doesn't point to Blogger, but the image () is pulled from there.

Heh I thought it was mathowie when I couldn't find another MT blog, but thought just maybe it was some new plugin for MT that you found. Ahh well. I am saved now :P
