I'd like some suggestions on where to watch the European Cup Final this Sunday in Washington DC. Extra points if the bar is pro-Spanish.

It's on, of course, at Lucky Bar. I may be there.

(On the occasions I've been there before it's been full of Brits like me, so that should make the atmosphere pro-Spanish or at least anti-German.)

It's worth noting, if you'll be watching with some die-hard footie fans, that the "European Cup" usually refers to a club trophy (now called the Champions League Champions Cup, I believe).

It's called UEFA Champions League.

I'm aware that the league is called the UEFA Champions League. The Cup itself is called the European Championship Clubs' Cup.

You don't have to be that pedantic about it, really. The European Championship is also regularly referred to as the European Cup (or even the Euro Cup, as the famous Irish supporters' song from Euro '88 attests).

In Falls Church, VA, there is a place called the Futbol Cafe. Its a highly spanish/peruvian/cuban area about 6 miles outside of DC. Take 395 down to King Street. Take King Street West about 1 mile, turn right into Bailey's Crossroads shopping center. Futbol Cafe is on your right at the end of the shopping center. Its not close to a metro station, a cab will cost about $20.
