Interesting online writing projects.... ? I'm thinking about tackling another (large) writing project via the 'net. What are your favorite (preferably single-author) sites that are presenting stories / a novel / thematic essays? I'm not really looking for blogs, but (maybe) serial pieces presented in blog format. Anyone doing / done this with success? (I'm sure there are a gazillion really bad ones out there...)

I can remember She Hates My Futon [first chapter here, the rest ???] and Toothbrush Envy which I think appeared on the ratbastard's [Don's] site before it was on fray but I can't find it now. And of course, the chapters in the meandering story that is part of ftrain. The city stories projects took off a while ago but seem to still be going somewhat

heh, don't laugh, but Monster Island just wrapped up and I found the serial format lended itself to the story quite well. (It's a zombie story set in New York and not your typical semi-literate fanfic. I actually stumbled across it through a text-ad on the Blue.)

AfterDinner. And Maggie Donea had a project, Colors/Rainbow, years ago.. Lance Arthur had glassdog.net, but still does stories out of Lance Arthur dot com, where as it happens, you can find links to other writings on the web. And then there is the self link where I was writing a novel, Roseland, that has been sidetracked.
