Where are the good skateparks in MA?

Good skateboarding parks in or around Cambridge MA, or less than a 20-minute drive therefrom? Whadda they have? Any good public places where skateboarding isn't frowned upon, with stairs, rails, curbs? For a 13-year-old who is at the basic level and wants a challenge.

Suggestions further out of the area are also welcome.

A web search turned up a few potentially helpful links:

A list of skateparks in MA from skateboarding.com.

Some comments about the Reservation Skatepark which may be the closest to you
.

Perhaps there would be some more information on the Skaters Cafe forum too--here's a thread asking for New England skaters to post...

I hope this helps. I'm an older guy in Somerville wanting to get back on my skateboard and finally nail a kickflip, by the way, so I'll message you if I find any good locations in the area. I'd love to just find an empty lot or something where I can skate without annoying anyone.

Stay tuned for the 40,000 sq ft. Charles River Skatepark in East Cambridge.

Announced yesterday: Groundbreaking on new skatepark pushed back to spring 2009.

Chronic skate scenes at Government Center, Copley Plaza (though that gets crowded in the summer) and the Aquarium area. Perhaps around the new ICA, but that's just a guess.
