Good party venues in Anaheim?

I have to organize a party for academics in Anaheim. Can anyone suggest some fun bars or restaurants by the convention center/Disneyland?

We are looking to host about 100 people for food and drinks for a couple hours, and to keep prices reasonable. So I am looking for a place that would do appetizers and drinks and offer a pleasant or fun atmosphere. If it matters, this would be in August....

Response by poster: Yes. (Academy of Management, for those who aren't in with the supercool lingo)

I missed out on another academic conference in Anaheim earlier this spring, so I can't speak from first hand experience. Ahead of the meeting, however, the organizers sent this link out to folks who were looking to organize outings, which also leads to this, and this, which lists restaurants for meetings.

I honestly haven't been paying much attention to the AOM material I've been getting, so I'm not sure what other venues are being used this summer for the divisions and groups. (I should probably also quickly make up my mind on if I'm going or not!)

I hope some of this helps you get started. As an aside, I think you win an award for being the first person to associate "AOM" and "supercool." ;-)

You could do worse than Park Avenue.

Roy's!

Fun environment in the bar and great food in the dining room - fine dining without the stuffiness.
