Question: Hey Reese's? You're not the only game in chocolate and peanut butter town.

Either I'm being paranoid or the stores I frequent have stopped stocking certain items beloved by me because they contain both chocolate and peanut butter. Paranoid or not, I can bake, and am therefore not at the mercy of the peanut butter and chocolate overlords. Which leads me to ask the question, what decadent peanut butter and chocolate recipes do you have to share?

- wonton wrappers
- chocolate chips
- peanut butter

Wrap a few chips and a little bit of peanut butter in a wonton wrapper and fry in a shallow pan of hot oil until brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm with ginger ice cream.

1c powdered sugar
1/2c creamy peanut butter
3T softened butter
1lb chocolate

Cream together the peanut butter, sugar, and butter. Shape into 1-inch balls, and let sit about 20 minutes. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler, or even the microwave. I like a good dark chocolate, but Nestle's has worked just fine. Dip the balls into the chocolate, make sure it's coated really well, and place on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper to dry.

Make your own Reese's cups with dark chocolate -- I made these with a little espresso swirled into the chocolate and they were divine -- make your heart race a little bit, though :)

I just made the most asskicking ice cream using about a cup and a half of chocolate peanut butter, which I bought pre-packed at the gourmet counter of my grocery store, but which is more or less roasted peanuts and high-quality cocoa.

I used a standard vanilla ice cream as a base, and it tasted like a peanut buster parfait from Dairy Queen. Heavenly.

The best peanut butter cookies ever. I don't even like peanut butter cookies, and I can wolf down about ten of these in a sitting.

They're good with the recommended combo of peanut butter chips and chocolate chips, but if you want more chocolate in your peanut butter, you can alter the ratio.

Somewhat similar to rhapsodie's recipe, but delicious & it's great for a party:

1 brick graham crackers
1 to 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
3 cups powdered sugar

2 sticks butter

1 12-oz bag chocolate chips

Crush graham crackers to fine powder. Mix with powdered sugar & peanut butter.

Melt butter; add to mixture and pat into a 9x12 pan.

Melt chocolate chips & pour over mixture. Put into fridge till chocolate hardens.

I like using chocolate and peanut butter as topping on ice cream. Just microwave a short 1/4 cup peanunt butter for 10-15 seconds, and drizzle over ice cream with chocolate syrup. It's much much better than it sounds.

Soft tofu
melted chocolate
peanut butter
honey to sweeten (optional)

Combine all in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth. Then, refrigerate. It is fantastic.

I have no idea what the "recipe" to this is, but we have a traditional recipe in my family that's peanut butter mixed with sugar (and flour, I think) spread into a brownie pan, then thick fudge (or even just straight melted chocolate) poured on top. Cut, eat, adore.

There's also this amazing peanut butter ice cream pie: 1 gallon vanilla ice cream, 1 small jar crunchy peanut butter, mix, spoon into a graham cracker pie crust, freeze. Serve with hot fudge.
