NYPL/Pylon font match?

What is the font used by Pylon on all their records and singles and everything else? You know, this one.

It looks similar to the font used for the word "Police" on some 1970s NYPD squad cars-- is it the same one?

Not to mention The Police themselves!

If they use only capitals then it's more likely to be Microgramma, also known as the original Star Trek font. (Eurostile is a later revision by the same designers that added lowercase.)
