Question: Where to find Federweisser/Sturm, or something similar?

How to find the wine/beverage called Federweisser or Sturm in California? Are there any similar-tasting beverages?

While I was in Austria, I had a chance to try some Sturm, which is very freshly fermented grape juice. It was delicious and very refreshing, and was a little cider-like . . .

The internet seems to suggest that it can not be stored for a long time due to ongoing fermentation; I have thus been unable to find any in a local wine shop. I live in Berkeley, fairly close to Californian wine country, so I would hope that I could fine some locally made. Otherwise, is there a similar beverage that is more readily available? Vinho Verde or some semi-sparkling wine seem like reasonable candidates, but I don't really know much about them.

Vinho Verdes are super cheap bottles of wine -- always under $10, usually under $5 -- so experimenting with 'em on a hot summer day, never a bad choice.
