Good Obstetrician in New York or North/Central Jersey.

I'll make it quick: does anyone have a recommendation for a good Obstetrician either in Manhattan or North/Central Jersey? The person I am asking for is insured. Thanks Mefi!

(I know, friends have used people, but the collective wisdom of MeFi has proven useful to me on many occasions. -- I hope I return the favor now and then when I chime in also.)

I was satisfied with Dr. Gila Aaron, in Manhattan. Not absolutely crazy about, but satisfied. She was my OB/GYN when I was pregnant with my first kid. My Interweb is being slow and I can't get a page with her phone number to load right now, but she's the one who pops up if you look "Gila Aaron" up with Google.

My mom is an OB nurse and raves about Dr. Paul Dicker.

schustafa I believe you need to acknowledge that that is a ridiculous name for a GYN.

thanks for the responses guys....I'll look into them. Yes, truly wild name sully. it had to come up when he interviewed for positions, right?

Dr. Aaron became my doctor when my original OB/GYN, Dr. Regina Healy, left their practice. Really.
