This recent AskMefi question on the economic stimulus checks has stirred my curiosity. Have you received your check yet?

We have. 1200 for the two of us. It was mailed out on Friday and received Tuesday. We had thought that we would have received it direct deposit earlier in the month because we paid electronically, but apparently that was not the case due to H+R Block's failure to update their online tax forms to include deposit information if you owe taxes.

got mine direct deposit, right into the ol bank account. i wont spend any more then normal, i just now have some extra monies up ins.

I haven't recieved mine yet. I'm not sure what's up. I think it's supposed to be $300?

I recently received an e-mail from Turbotax stating that people who had their online filing fee taken out of their direct deposited rebate will actually receive a check rather than a direct deposit.
