Anyone know a good music store in Little Rock, Arkansas, ideally near the airport, preferably on or near I40 N/I65 W?

What kind of stuff are you looking for? Music store like records, like CDs, or like instruments? Used or new?

Used Records: Arkansas Record/CD Exchange is probably the best one in town, and much closer to 40 than Been Around is.
New CDs: You might be best with a big-box store, or a Barnes and Noble.
Instruments: Can't really help ya, but I could ask some friends.

Response by poster: Sorry, I should have been clear: guitar strings and accessories, not CDs and records!

Best answer: There's a Guitar Center in West Little Rock, but that's a long ways from the airport. Saied, in North Little Rock, isn't too far away, and there's a good chance they'd have what you need. Levy Guitar has some, y'know, indie charm and whatnot, though they're open by appointment only and probably wouldn't be a good place to get strings.

If you just need a common replacement something, I'd say call Saied, then call Guitar Center if they don't have it. If you want to browse and make small talk and look at cool handiwork and whatnot, I'd go to Levy Guitar, or even drive out to Jacksonville Guitar Center (not part of the chain). In case this isn't already clear, I'm not a guitar player. Some of my pals are, though.

Response by poster: Following up, you won't believe this, but I got strings and picks at a WalMart off the interstate headed north -- you never know
