Where can I find a pair of awesome sunglasses I saw on some guy walking down the street last month?

I am looking for a pair of sunglasses I saw someone wearing the other day. Think Geordi LaForge's visor on Star Trek: The Next Generation, but going from just above the cheekbone to just above/on the eyebrows (three inches tall, maybe? not the skinny 80's-night ones); they're just a completely solid piece of reflective glass. The ear-holder parts seem to be plain glasses ones and I guess the nose supporter is built inside of the glasses.

My google-fu is seriously weak on this. Anyone know where they sell them, or even what they're called? I live in NYC, so I figure if I knew where to look, I could get them pretty easily. I spent yesterday in SoHo and checked out every sunglass-seller I could, but all they've got right now is stunners and the Kanye West/Daft Punk ones.

Hell, even a photo would be great.

you might need to check out cycling or golf shops as these sorts of glasses tend to be more highly prized by outdoor sports athletes who want to maximize their peripheral vision.

Bl1ink/w0mbat- they look like those but without the nose indentation. the lens extends right across that concave area where it is on the ones you linked.

MaddyRex - almost! They're a little taller and sit a little tighter (more curved to the skull.) Do these things have a name?

Yay! I spent ages looking for those (single lens, shield, wraparound). The money search was 'geordi laforge sunglasses'. I shit you not.

No luck finding knockoffs - they're a bit too recent I think. Here's a male action shot for ya though. Guess we're condemned to re-invent the 80's.
