What's fun in Portland, OR?

Going to Portland for RailsConf, and wondering about potential after-conference activities. I have a very broad notion of fun, so any and all suggestions would be welcome.
Oh, you said OR in your title. Well really, with such broad tastes I would encourage you to check out the askmes that use the Portland tag, since this comes up fairly often. I collected the most useful-seeming threads for a previous question. Here it is.
If there's something specific you're interested in, do mention it... there's lots to do around here, and it's hard to really come up with new suggestions without knowing what interests you.

I was there a month ago. Taking this tour was a high point of the trip.

When in Portland and if you like books...you must go to Powell's. Across the street (Burnside) from Powell's is an additional cool block of shops...I want to say Reading Frenzy, a pizza place, Crowsenberg's Half and Half (a little coffee shop), another book store (erotica) and a Thai place.
Hawthorne is cool. Belmont is cool. Tons of good stuff in Portland.
