I'm looking for an audio file. Its the sound you here in for example a military program as "official" graphics appear to be typed onto the screen.

odinsdream: you mean the telegraph/Morse sound? I don't think I've seen that associated with anything set after roughly WW2.

To me, the "military subtitles" noise sounds like an electric typewriter, presumably being used to type up a government report; the "newsroom" sound is a combination of mechanical typewriters and a teletype (steef's sound) in the background.

I think you might be talking about the sound that's in many video games, not sure what movies it's in.

Here it is at the start of this Call of Duty 4 trailer.
