Question: Good pasta in San Diego?!

Where can I find fresh pasta in San Diego?

I'm looking to find a restaurant (or great market) that serves (or sells!) fresh, amazing pasta. I'm based in San Diego and my search has been fruitless so far. Help!

When I visit San Diego I always try to have dinner at Acqua Al 2 which has it's sister restaurant in Firenze. I've never been disappointed by their tasting menu which allows you sample 4-5 different pastas with a partner.

There's a farmer's market at La Jolla Elementary on Sundays which has, or at least used to have, a vendor selling fresh pasta in many different styles and flavors.

The North Park farmer's market (Thursday evenings) has a guy with fresh pasta. I just bought some but I haven't eaten it yet. I'll report back.
I think there's also a place in Little Italy but unfortunately I can't remember the name. (I rarely go there because there's nowhere to park)

I can't say that it's amazing since I never bought it, but I'm pretty sure Whole Foods (say, in Hillcrest) will sell you fresh (i.e. not dry, refrigerated) pasta. Otherwise, you should totally just make it yourself. It's crazy easy if you have a food processor and a pasta machine. And cheap.

OK, so Peggy's Pasta I think it was called, it was fine but not amazing, but then again I always forget I don't like flavored pasta and I got the basil pappardelle. So maybe give it a try. I've also had the Whole Foods kind and it's pretty good.
