Has anyone had any good experiences with an online auto salvage yard? My odometer and gas meter have stopped working and dodge doesn't service the part anymore.

oh, and a daylong search of the local yards turned up nothing. Thanks.

Yes, I had great experiences with two brand-specific online salvage yards. What kind of car are you trying to fix?

I didn't have much luck, since there seemed to be a very loose coupling between what you could buy on their web page and what they actually had. Worse, the time for them to tell you it wasn't in stock was 2-3 days.

I've had great luck finding parts for my old '91 Laser on eBay. If you can't find it at salvage yards or if you're looking for a better price, it's worth doing a couple searches.
