Cleveland filter: New job, new city! Fun, hip, alternative, informative blogs?

So I just got a cool job in Cleveland, and I'll be migrating from Austin, Texas. I am SO sad to leave Austin, although I am excited about the new opportunities in Cleveland. I was wondering if you know of any alternative blogs that talk about organic living, indie music (kind of like this one in Columbus), liberal political themes, etc. in and around Cleveland. I found a good food blog, and a neat all-purpose commentary on Cleveland blog, but I'm looking for more.

Help me, Clevelanders!

Not quite what you're looking for, but you might want to take a look at Really Bad Cleveland Accent. It's more of a personal perspective, with a restaurant mention or historical fact thrown in here and there.

It's been a while since I lived in Cleveland and I can't think of a bunch off the top of my head, although I know there are some. One that springs to mind, however, is Tremonter, which I believe was created by our very own sciurus.

Welcome to Cleveland! Where will you be living?

I Rock Cleveland is a good indie music blog. There are lots of links on that site that you might like as well.

Cool Cleveland sends out an email with goings on around town. And My Friend Cleveland is sort of a general news, arts, music and events blog.

Author Michael Ruhlman lives in Cleveland, and his blog doesn't only focus on the Cleveland area, but it does address our local food scene from time to time.

Cleveland Independents is a group of locally-owned restaurants; these aren't all necessarily organic, but it's a good way to find the good restaurants in town. They have a big discounted-gift-certificate sale a few times a year.

These sites aren't blogs, but you might enjoy them anyway - the big non-grocery markets in town are the West Side Market and the North Union Farmer's Market, which is hosted in a few locations around town. Also Market Square, adjacent to the West Side Market, has outdoor music performances on Saturdays during summer (the 2008 schedule isn't up yet, but it should be soon).

"Scene" is Cleveland's free entertainment newspaper. Their website may lead you to something helpful.

Thought of a couple more:

A couple chef blogs: Symon Says, the blog of chef Michael Symon (owner of the great Lola and Lolita, and FoodTV's newest Iron Chef), and his former head chef at Lolita, Jonathon Sawyer, who now has his own (also good) good restaurant, Bar Cento.

Free Times is the other local weekly (I actually prefer it over Scene).

Last non-blog entry, I swear - Cleveland Cinemas, which owns the local indie theater, the Cedar-Lee, has a mailer about upcoming events. Scroll down to the "Sprockets Newsletter" link at the bottom.

And for the sake of thoroughness, the other good source of indie movies is at the Cleveland Institute of Art's Cinematheque.

Eating Cleveland is cool, but my favorite food blog is Cleveland Foodie. The author actually lands interviews with local chefs. And she often breaks news about new restaurants and new goings-on before the local publications get around covering them. I'd bet that all the local food critics have her bookmarked.

Thanks to all of you! These sites are a terrific start! I'm a little overwhelmed (but in a good way). Thanks tons!

Modern Cleveland
stuart_s has a foodie Flickr stream for Cleveland. I think he has a blog or two, but I don't remember the URLs.

CoolCleveland [More lukewarm than cool or hip. Although it seems cool to folks who like to be spoonfed their entertainment].

You've got to go to the Velvet Tango Room.
