Where can I find more awesome kick-butt music?

I'm a classical music aficionado but have recently been watching the TV show alias and love the kick-butt music super-hero music featured there. Help me find more?

Specifically, I loved Sinead O'Conner's No Man's Woman, Badfinger's Come and Get it, Kryptonite, and some of the great 90's anthems by SmashMouth, U2 and others.

I like listening to those songs to rev me up for big presentations or when jogging, but I'd like to, um, expand my repertoire. Things that make me feel like a super-heroine or a kick-butt spy.

Can you make more suggestions? (Stewie's gf asking)

Thanks!

I asked a similar question a little while ago. There were some pretty great responses.

Robocop theme is notable from its kick-butt awesomeness. I bought it from iTunes specially for running and heroic deeds.

I've recommended this before, specifically on a running music question, but: Jet's "Cold Hard Bitch", which was featured in the first episode of Season 4 of Alias.

Most Herbaliser instrumentals are awesome. "Eight Men Strong" spring immediately to mind, as does "The Missing Suitcase" and "Geddim!".

If you're looking for a crazy "I AM THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS" type song, you could do far worse than Clutch's "Immortal."

The album version is way better than that video one, but that's the best I could find on short notice.

Amon Tobin's soundtrack for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is pretty great. It'll make you feel all spy-like.

The two versions of "To Victory" from the 300 Soundtrack (particularly the Philip Steir remix) are excellent for this.

Can't do much better than Basil Poledouris' score to Conan the Barbarian.

Also, try the Thief soundtrack by Tangerine Dream, particularly the last track "Confrontation".

There's your soundtrack sampling.
