Friends and I are trying to remember the name of an overweight singer who sings in the style of Klaus Nomi. This person is still alive, and could possibly be trans-gendered. Who is this person?

Is Antony transgendered? I always thought he was supposed to be but then I heard otherwise. Sorry to piggyback on your questions.
