"synchronized scrolling" for video?

Is there any existing software that'll let you view two or more digital video files locked in sync, say for comparing the content/quality against each other?

I'm thinking of something sort of like the YouTube doubler, but with the ability to scrub through all the videos simultaneously - like synchronized scrolling - as well as to control each display individually. And maybe more than 2 videos at the same time.

What would be the best way to do this?

Any video editing program should let you do this with a split wipe, or pick an output size equal to the two videos side by side and drop the two you're comparing on the timeline next to each other. I do this all the time with Vegas, but any program will suffice.

I think Virtualdub will let you do this. Ask on their forums.

Use something like Windows MovieMaker and put both videos into the same larger master video. Then play that one.
