Short-term accomodation in Adelaide or Sydney?

Where should I look for relatively inexpensive short-term accommodation in either Adelaide or Sydney?

I am looking for a house for 5-10 people for 1-2 weeks, with about 2 months notice. Is this even feasible? (I don't know anything about the real estate / accommodation market)

Many thanks for any light that can be shed on the matter!

You could poke around craigslist, but it's not as big as it is elsewhere so it could be tricky.

realestate.com.au has a holiday rentals section. It's definitely available, but I'm not sure what you mean by 'relatively inexpensive'.
