Question: Apple Mail Address Woes

How do you get rid of unwanted email address that appear when sending a message in Apple Mail?
This is a picture of what I want to delete. As far as I can tell, there is no way to get rid of the addresses.

Also: (just in case) make sure it's not in your adress book.

It looks like you are typing the word "shaun" and both options are appearing? Use the arrow keys to choose the address you want, THEN hit enter.

Or delete that address from your addressbook or give it a different nickname.

You found one answer, but another is that if you have Mail configured to use an LDAP server, turn it off.
