Should I wait for Microsoft to get back to me in regards to my Xbox Community Developer Program (XCDP) application?

I have recently opened a new website for the Xbox and Xbox Live community. After months of progress and development, I felt it was time to apply for the Xbox Community Developer Program, or XCDP. According to their website, they are accepting applications only for future consideration. Is this really true, though? I'd like to know that, as long as my application was promising, I could still get accepted into the program.

Anyway, after a week and a half of waiting I have yet to receive a response. Does anyone know when the last website was accepted into the program so I could use the time frame as a reference to my application? AND (my real question), should I continue to wait for Microsoft or is it likely a lost cause?

If you are on Twitter, I would ask Hamza (XboxNowOnline editor) as he seems both new and connected in the Xbox community (unless, of course, that's you. Your website isn't in your profile).

It seems weird, but according to the Wayback Machine that page has said the same thing since 6/23/2006.
