Where is this retro sound?

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the music that used to play once you had booted into Windows 98 SE?

Do you remember the theme that I am talking about? It used to come up when the splash screen came up. My girlfriend used to call it the running music and I'd love to get hold of a copy for a little project. The trouble is that I don't have either a WIn98SE disk or an old enough computer.

Is this it? (WAV version of the Windows 98 sound in !Jim's Youtube link.)

Thanks guys but I've watched and listened to that clip and the sound isn't there. It used to start straight after that startup WAV and keep going for 20-30 seconds I think.

The most memorable was Eno's theme - but that was Win95.

I think JonB probably has it. That's the "bells of hell" music that used to accompany the irritating "Welcome to Windows 98" first-run box that one or two people never did figure out how to turn off :-)

chairish, if you dig da cool funky corporate groove, and you've got a copy of XP handy, you might also want to point your favorite media player to C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images\title.wma.

Not to derail but I have copied Eno's theme from a Win95 computer to every computer I have had since then. It is somehow perfect....
