Can you identify this face? It's part of a clue in a treasure hunt. There are numerous hints that the man might be French, and/or a composer or organist. Or a philosopher. Anyway, see if this photo rings a bell. Thanks!

Notice it's the identical picture as in the link eatdonuts posted, but flipped horizontally.
Note the little white background space below his dark ear.
