Question: Which Marx translations are 'canonical?'

I am taking a look at two Marx texts, Capital (V: I) and his Eighteenth Brumaire of Napoleon, which are the best translations? I know there are a few problematic translations with the latter.

The translations that used to be put out by Vintage, now found in Penguin's editions, are the best versions of Marx in English. They're mostly but not exclusively by Ben Fowkes, and he did translate both of the texts you're asking about. "The Eighteenth Brumaire" is collected in a compilation called Surveys from Exile.
