My feet are overheating!

Shoe search is not going well. I am looking for a slip-on shoe for casual work environment that is really well vented - I mean, with something like mesh for the main side panels. Merrell made a great version of their Jungle Moc called the 'vent' - but it seems to be long gone.

Would this work? If not it looks like there is a brick and mortar Walking Company store in your town; they have a good selection. I just bought a pair of shoes from them and they really do emphasize comfort.

I've never tried them, but the Geox gimmick is well vented footwear. If I remember correctly, it was the cost that kept me from giving them a try.

I saw shoes which fit your description in the Land's End section of our local Sears store last weekend. They seemed fairly well made, and I think I'll go get a pair ...

Looks like at least a few resellers still have the Jungle Moc Ventilator, too.

Tedw - thanks for the reference. I'm a bit shy of the oranges in the workplace tho.

box - YES -that's just what I was looking for! I don't know why I couldn't find these. I am so glad there such sharp eyes here at MeFi!
