Looking for title of a classic rock song

Musicfilter: Probably an easy one, but I'm stymied. I'm looking for the artist/song title of a classic rock song, and here's the only lyrics I can recall:
"My soul's on fire..you're the of my desire..."
Has sort of groovy, mellow T-Rex kind of feel.
Anyone?

Sorry, I don't know exactly what's said in the "you're the ______ of my desire" part. Used less than/greater than brackets in original post so it got wiped out....
