Does anyone know what Andrea Dromm is doing now, or what she has been doing since 1967? She was the young blonde American girl in The Russians Are Coming! who falls in love with the Russian sailor at the beach house. There's nothing current on Google.

Google has something, specifically Google Books. Drive-In Dream Girls: A Galaxy of B-Movie Starlets of the Sixties, with a whole section on Andrea Dromm.

"Q: What happened to the actress who played Allison Palmer in "The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming"?

A: Andrea Dromm, the actress in the 1966 film, was quite the sensation in the '60s. She was especially memorable for her commercials for the Clairol product Summer Blonde. But she became bored with show business and dropped out in the early '70s."

The answer, from zamboni's link, is living off real estate investments and splitting her time between the Hamptons (she's a native of Manhasset) and Palm Beach.

(I had wanted to update her Wikipedia entry a few months ago, but that material was not available on Google Books then.)
