Another "what's this typeface?" question. What are the two typefaces used in this image?

Top typeface is Gill Sans Bold.

Best answer: WhatTheFont likes Alinea Sans-Bold for "Graduate." It draws a blank on "College," as do I.

And the bottom is Palatino.

("Graduate" isn't quite what my Gill Sans bold looks like.)

(Ditto "College" -- the C is clearly different than my Palatino.)

Yeah, it's not actually Palatino, but an incredible simulation. The C is the giveaway. Whoops.

Best answer: can we all agree in future that if anyone has a "name this font" question, to just go straight to WhatTheFont?

(Seconding violetk.) :)

Best answer: The second font is FF Scala. I had no trouble running it through WhattheFont after making it greyscale and pumping up the contrast.

Response by poster: Thanks, everyone. "Graduate" definitely seems to be Alinea Sans-Bold. And "College" seems to be FF Scala, which I found at Identifont, which I wouldn't have found if violetk hadn't posted, because that made me look at the slightly previous "what's this font" question.

And I promise not to post another "what's this font" question, if I can help it.
