What is the name of this Cinderella story?

What book is this?
I read a book when I was a young teenager that I would like to read again, but I can't for the life of me remember the title or author. Things I remember:
It was definitely a Cinderella story.
She made or decorated one of her dresses with small swamp (?) roses.
The prince disguises himself as a goat herder.
The prince was supposedly ill and just came from from a far away place where he regained his health by drinking goat's milk.
Okay, so I'm not so sure about that last part. But please help me, this has been driving me crazy for months now.

When were you a teenager? A general era would help.

Response by poster: Definitely not The Ordinary Princess, but thanks, Madamina.
This would've been about ten years ago.
