How easy is Delta's mobile check-in?

Has anyone used Delta Airlines mobile check-in with an iPhone? Would you recommend it over online check-in?

Seems really easy to use. You just fill in your SkyMiles # and PIN or search for it by Name, Confirmation/e-ticket/Credit Card number. Any reason why you'd be worried about it?

I guess the downside would be you still need to go to the airport counter to print out a boarding pass whereas if you checked in via the normal website, you could print it out in advance.

When we did online checkin, it was not very good, and we still had to fool around with the ticket kiosk thing and then also see the agent to check our bags. Not at all like Air Tran or other online checkins I've done.

I found it to be an enormous pain and not very friendly with the iPhone either.
