Searching for Mobile Software

I'm looking for recommendations for some kind on Mobile software (for pda, blackberry, iPhone and possibly laptop/desktop use) that gives insights/recommendations/reviews/locations/news, etc of restaurants, movies, events, museums, etc. for NYC. The closest thing I can find is www.vindigo.com. Thanks in advance.

Note that for most of those platforms - especially the iPhone and most newer smartphones - the need (and therefore the drive to create) for such software is cut down a lot by the fact that you have full access to the standard web.

I also use Yelp for this, in San Francisco, on my blackberry.
