WTF logo is on this fabric?

I just bought some interesting fabric from an enormous textile discount place. See link for crappy cellphone picture. Obviously, the pattern incorporates a logo (there is a teeny registered trademark sign inside each square), but I cannot place it. Any ideas? Someday, it will be a bag or maybe a skirt and I'd like to know who or what I'm wearing. Thanks!

Levi's L2 Jeans. I think they are extinct, but here's a pair on ebay.

Hmm. I'm not convinced by the L2 suggestion -- it's very similar, but the Levi's logo clearly has an L and a 2.

What kind of fabric is it?

loiseau, look at the logo in the top left of thewrongparty's picture. Isn't that clearly an L and a 2? It looks exactly like the Levi's logo to me.

Response by poster: It seems to be thin but stiff cotton, maybe a poly-cotton blend. It would not be surprising if it represented something defunct.

Response by poster: It looks like there were several variations on the design for the L2 jeans.
here vs. here

Though, neither of those looked quite as squarish as what I've got. Seems like a good bet...

At first I thought it was Enron logo. It looks very finance/software company to me.

Look at the picture on the ebay page that shows the tag. Identical.

Definitely L2. I used to consult with Levi's in the L2 days.
