... I would like to find a good real estate buyer's agent in Austin, and maybe a design/build firm - I've heard of all the new ones (KRDB, et al), but if you have some personal experiences and/or recs please...

If you are looking for a high-end architect, check out Barley Pfeiffer. For a buyer's agent, I would recommend Coldwell Banker (email me for specific agent recs).

Edmond is an acquaintance of mine, and I haven't really dealt with many real estate agents, but he's been awesome to a noob like me.
