Industry specific news service feed

I need to create a company website. Are there custom news bulletin that can be updated automatically so only industry relevant info are displayed?

I am total newbie on web building. I noticed some other company websites have industry specific news bulletins shown on there homepages. Where do i need to go for such service? how much does it usully cost?

I figured since the company site is not planning on updating homepages too often, that such news serivce may add some freshness to the homepage i am trying to build.

What is RSS feed? is that what i am look for?

RSS is the first thing that came to my mind, but maybe if you can disclose the industry they are in, we can give you some more specific advice.

My web host has a wizard which allows me to choose from many topics fro RSS feeds. After selecting the topics and other variables, such as placement on the page, number of stories to display, colors and fonts, etc, it generates the code for use on the website.

Check the "tools" section of your web-hosting control panel for RSS feeds. Maybe there is something available.

Here's a site that seems to do what my host does.

Note that automatic feeds have no discretion when it comes to good/bad news
