Can I make an Ableton Live sound pack with my own samples? I have .aiff drum sounds that I want to make into a kit.

Best answer: Yup, you can. All you need to do is create an Impulse, use your samples to create a kit on it, and then use File -> Manage project to create an .alp file (a pack) with your preset. I *think* that's the way you do it - I don't have my studio machines nearby so I can't tell you for sure. Give it a try, though!

Response by poster: yessir, that's how it's done. I also found it didn't have to be an impulse track, the other software instruments are the same way.
