I know there is a movie version of The Stranger (l'Etranger), where can I order it online? Also, is it any good, if you've seen it?

it's Visconti's Lo Straniero; it's not released officially on DVD; it's full of Mastroianni/Anna Karina goodness; be careful when you Google for it, there's an unrelated film of the same name with Orson Welles. your best bet is to find it via P2P or via eBay or Craigslist in a version ripped from a TV broadcast. this is what you're looking for.

Karagara has it via P2P.
