Where to obtain a Signature Verification in or around Austria

Where can I obtain a Signature Verification/Signature Guarantee in Europe, preferably in Austria or one of the surrounding countries?

I need to obtain a Signature Verification/Signature guarantee in order to complete a financial transaction in the states.

I've called the embassy here in Vienna, and they sent me to the consulate. The consulate told me they could do it, but when I went in, they told me they don't do Signature Verifications, only Notarizations. My only other chance, as far as I know, is to find an American bank to go to and get my signature verified there.

A notary doesn't work it must be a Signature Verification.

Best answer: First Global Program will do it for a fee:
an insurance premium of 2.5% of the market value for transactions that are up to $25,000 (subject to a $125 minimum premium), plus administrative processing fees.

Transactions that are over $25,000 of the market value of the securities require an underwriting evaluation by the insurance company, plus administrative processing fees.
You may be able to appoint a U.S. attorney who will then be able to get the medallion signature guarantee themselves. Talk to the financial institution to see if this is possible.

Try calling the offices of a brokerage firm, ideally a US one. Banks can also do sig guars.

You'll need to call them first to make sure they do this for non-clients.
