Strip Charting -- Open Source

Where to find good, flexible open source strip chart software?

I have a project which requires generating multi-line strip charts in real time on a WinXP box. Preferably with a good user interface for (re)configuring chart headers, scales, colors, line positions, etc.

I doubt I'll find exactly what I need out-of-the-box, so open source is essential.

Any suggestions?

matplotlib?

Look at the last screen shot in this page. Is that similar to what you want?

Somewhat. Need more flexible scales for up to about 8 parallel charts.
