Dude hangs a dog as an art project

Is this considered art? A live dog is hung outside an art studio & left to suffocate. Artist gets invited to attend a conference.

Wanted to post it to Mefi but cannot just yet since I am too new I guess. Google the name "Guillermo Habacuc Vargas" (VNSFW).

Dude hung a live dog outside an art studio and left it to die of starvation. Called it an art piece. He's been invited to attend a conference in Honduras.

Not really a question but perhaps someone can post it to MeFi.

Here's an online petition to boycott his presence at the conference

This post was deleted for the following reason: like you said, this is not really a question, and nto really a great post to metafilter, while we're at it. feel free to email if you need more guidance on this. -- jessamyn

Where's the question?

The thing about Art is that nothing isn't Art. That's art-with-a-capital-A.

This post, on the other hand, is... well, questionable. As it were.

I'm sure you feel strongly about this but I don't think petitions are the point of AskMeFi. I'm hoping this gets removed because if we open the door to this petition, hundreds more will follow.
