ID this Play-By-Mail game? Trolls, Holes and Vultures, UK-based

Prompted by the Gary Gygax memorial thread:

At least 17 years ago, I briefly played a PBM game about trolls, who lived in holes (which they could excavate) and had pet vultures (who could spy for them). The company that ran it may have been based in Brighton.

It appears that it's left no trace on the net at all... does anyone have any information about such a beast?

From the Boyfriend:

Monster Island
by KJC games; based in Blackpool rather than Brighton.

As the aforementioned bf:

On second thoughts it possibly wasn't Monster Island. I definitely remember playing the 'trolls in holes' game for a short time in the late 80s though, which means it was probably something from KJC games, although nothing like that is on their website now.

A bit of googling turned up a couple of vague references to 'Troll's Bottom' from KJC. I suspect that might be the one. I can't find any substantial information though.

Pretty sure it was Troll's Bottom. I vaguely remember you had the ability to mix up special potions.

"Troll's Bottom" and "KJC" ring vague bells, and transposing Brighton and Blackpool seems like something my addled brain would do. Thanks guys!
