Need photographer in Reno, NV

I need to hire a professional photographer for a brief shoot to take some pictures of a client in Reno, NV, for the cover of her upcoming Random House book. I have googled a bunch of local photo professionals and emailed them via the contact forms on their sites but haven't heard back from any of them. Is every photographer in Reno swamped with work, or is there a better source for listings of active professionals there?
Photographers are not exactly in non-internet fields.
In my experience (i'm looking for photography assisting work), photographers almost always pick up their phones by the 2nd ring. Perhaps it's a slow time up here. But they tend to stay connected. They are looking for work.
Did you mention money in your notes? Here's something a lot of photographers get a lot of and won't answer, "Hi I'm looking for someone to shoot a book cover for my client, national publication, I can pay you $60". Just wondering.

You could always meet a local photographer, see their portfolio in person, negotiate, and hire them to travel to the location for the shoot. I don't know what your budget is like, but photographers travel, and it's not outlandish to hire a bay area photographer for a Reno shoot.

I'm a professional photographer. I can't help you out on this, but if you ever have a similar need arise in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, know that I always respond to requests like yours pronto!
Sounds like business must be a little too good out there in Reno.
