Help me find my favourite computer game from 10+ years ago. It featured a pixel frog and pixel flies and it was not Frogger.

When I was considerably younger I used to be somewhat afraid of computers and only used my Dad's PC for playing this game that consisted of a black background, a vague frog-like shape (I think it was merely a white circle or two and a couple of 1pt lines for limbs) and one-pixel flies that the frog had to "catch" by jumping up. As you went on to the next level, obstacles were added and you had to be on the look-out for storks (bigger circles, longer lines). And that's pretty much all I remember. Also I think it was called "Frog", not surprisingly.

At some point my Dad acquired a new computer with more RAM (32MB (!) if I remember correctly) and the frog suddenly got uncontrollably fast and would jump itself to death against random obstacles. It was all very traumatic.

I'd really like to know if anyone knows what game I'm talking about or if somehow it only came with our PC. I tried googling, but of course only found variations of Frogger. Anyone?

Frog feast?

Assuming the Frog Feast suggestion is facetious, since the timeline and console don't even come close to matching mumble's description?

Or frog bog/frogs and flies?

Sorry, I had it mixed up with frogs and flies. They looked the almost identical on the screen capture.

Response by poster: Hmm, no, it was really much much simpler than that. Just a black background and some pixel shapes. Those graphics are waaay to sophisticated.

Would it be the same frog game from the movie Grandma's Boy?

I can't find the title, but I know they used real games in that movie.

Response by poster: It's neither on the list slater posted (unless I didn't check thoroughly enough) nor is it the Frog Bog clone. It was really amazingly simple, just some white pixels on a black background. I'm starting to think I imagined it, though. Haven't seen Grandma's Boy, Schuby, so I wouldn't know. Did it look anything like the one I described?

Oh, and I'm German, sorry for not mentioning this earlier, I don't know if that makes a difference? Thanks everyone for the suggestions so far!

Would be helpful to know what pc it was that you used to play it on... Amiga? Sinclair? Not that old? Windows 3.1?

Response by poster: DrtyBlvd, sorry for the late reply! I'm pretty sure it was a simple Windows PC, but as I said, I had no clue about computers at the time, so I don't really remember much. Possibly Windows NT? Maybe I'm placing this farther back in the past than it was, so I don't have to admit that I was playing this when I was sixteen, but no, I'm pretty sure it was more than ten years ago, so possibly 1993/94?
