Songs about soulmates?

Always looking for the proverbial perfect love song, and thought that maybe these threads could use an update.

Hoping for indie pop/rock songs, but others are welcome as well.

The First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes. The video for the song is also fantastic.

I saw "songs about soulmates" and got all excited. And then I saw indie.

Well, I'll leave you this because you said others are welcome.

It's kind of sad but I think it's a good song about losing someone important, and soul mate falls into that category.

"She's My Best Friend" by Lou Reed/Velvet Underground
Theme from "Courtship of Eddie's Father" (TV Show)
"A Case of You" by Joni Mitchell

Two of the three inspired many indie love songs, if you squint.

Soulmate by Natasha Bedingfield... More pop pop than indie pop...

"Ana Ng" - They Might Be Giants
...Ana Ng and I are getting old
And we still haven't walked in the glow of each other's majestic presence
Listen Ana hear my words
They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you...

For a newish one, Plain White T's "Hey There Delilah" is pretty sweet.
...A thousand miles seems pretty far
But they've got planes and trains and cars
I'd walk to you if I had no other way
Our friends would all make fun of us
and we'll just laugh along because we know
That none of them have felt this way...

The Postal Service - Such Great Heights

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles
In our eyes are mirror images and when
We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay

Ben Folds - The Luckiest

And in a white sea of eyes
I see one pair that I recognize
And I know

The Luckiest by Ben Folds is an amazing song about Soul mates.

This is one of Ben's finest songs.

"Ghost of a Chance" by Rush.

For so many different directions
Our separate paths might have turned
With every door that we opened
Every bridge that we burned

Somehow we find each other
Through all that masquerade
Somehow we found each other

I'd give infinite stars to "Power of Two" by the Indigo Girls.
At a close second, by a razor thin margin, is "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds.
