Trance covers/remixes

Looking for trance covers/remixes.

I love trance. I'm particularly fond of female vocals in trance. I stream it all day from the Internet at work.
I've also always loved covers of popular songs.
Fuse the two, and now I'm looking for trance remixes of popular songs! I'd be interested in forms other electronic music (techno, jungle, etc), but I always come back to trance in the end.

While I'm already aware of OCremix and more than have my fill of console remixes, I'm not particular to any specific genre. Anything from classical music to 80's pop to heavy metal, I'm all ears.
Artists who specialize in creating remixes are a plus.

Perfecto's remixes of U2 songs (especially Lemon and Even Better than the Real Thing). Bono's original vocals are in there, but are heavily dominated by female vocals performing the chorus. (They've remixed heaps of other stuff as well, but the U2 tracks are what I'm familiar with.)

the Above and Beyond remix of Aurora UK's cover of Duran Duran's "Ordinary World" is a particular favorite in this genre for me.

The Stone Roses: The Remixes might have something up your alley, if you're already fond of the first Stone Roses album. (No female vocals, sorry.)

Silence is pretty much the standard kickass remix of the past few years, for my money. Original is Delerium with Sarah McLachlan on vocals. The best remixes are the ones by Airscape and by Tiesto.

Also look at the Matt Darey remix of Inncente. Also Delerium, with Leigh Nash (from Sixpence None The Richer) on vocals.

For straight up vocal trance, try the Slacker remix of Someone Like You by Ascension--it's track 4 or 5 on the first Tranceport CD mixed by Paul Oakenfold.

There is a spectacular mix of Sinead O'Connor's Troy, but I forget who did it. If you can find it, you will fall in love with it.

Oceanlab - Satellite is beyond amazing, as long as you don't get one of the more bombastic remixes. I recommend the one by Hennes & Cold.

Tori Amos did one with BT called Blue Skies.

There's a lovely remix of Missing You by Everything But The Girl--again, I forget who did the mix. I think I have it on a whitelabel buried in a box somewhere.

I know they're not all exactly 'popular', but should be some yummy earfood.

For more mainstream remixy stuff, there's approximately eleventy billion remixes of Madonna, Britney, Christina Aguilera, etc. Look for remixes by Thunderpuss (not Thunderpussy; she's a hardass techno/hard trance DJ from Germany).

Hybrid has a huge list of remixes including lots of female vocals. Exactly the right ballance beteen cheesy and genuinely uplifing too.

dirtynumbangelboy: Good point about the billion remixes of those pop artists. I was thinking in terms of remixes of what I generally consider good non-electronic music, but that's obviously uber-subjective so I didn't frame the question that way.
Incidentally, I picked up a Sarah McLachlan remix album a while back which I fell in love with and inspired this post.

Thanks on the suggestions so far. The Hybrid link looks interesting, as do some of the individual songs suggested.
