Buying Rubbermaid Roughneck totes locally

Anyone know where to buy Rubbermaid Roughneck (/Tote) storage boxes locally?

Here's a link... looking for that 10-gal one in particular

We used to get them from stores like Walmart and Target, except now we can't find these models anywhere anymore. (Yeah, we really like these models.) Some stores must still sell them, though, right? We're in the Triangle Area of NC.

Thanks all!

Have you checked hardware stores or farm supply stores?

My local ACE hardware store carries them.

Years ago I bought a bunch of these at Big Lots (in South Carolina.) You can check to see if one is close to you. It's a pretty crappy store, but (at least when I was there last) they had tons of Rubbermaid stuff for cheap.

I came here to say Big Lots! When my local Meijer stopped carrying the specific size and style that I already had a sizable inventory of, I was pretty frustrated at the prospect of having a new batch of similar though incompatible containers. Big Lots to the rescue! I stocked up, because once they're gone from the second-run stores, they're gone, period.

Try looking at Lowe's (or local equivalent). While Meijer and Target have stopped carrying the 10-gal size, Lowe's still has them, or did as of a couple months ago (when I bought half a dozen). Target (at least here in SE MI) still carries the 14-gallon size instore.

And here I thought I was the only nut who liked those storage tubs enough to specifically search them out. They are such wonderful tubs; they are watertight, don't easily crack, can stand the heat and cold of a car trunk, the larger ones (the ones double the height of the 10 gallon ones) can hold loads heavier than I can reasonably carry by myself, they stack well, and key to any basic organizational tool, have been available for at least 10 years in the same form (for densely packing storage space, and perhaps for my OCD tendencies).

Out in Silicon Valley, they are sometimes at Home Depot, Target, and OSH, but Lowe's is the place that always stocks them in large quantities. Until I found Lowe's, I would regularly purchase a bunch of them whenever I saw them so I always had a few empty ones of each size at home. Oh wait, I still have a stockpile in the garage.
