Need an indoor DAB aerial but don't know where to start

Indoor DAB aerial. I need one.

I've got a portable DAB radio with a telescopic aerial. The reception in my area is bad, but I just about get a signal. I've opened up the radio and found a single wire that leads to the aerial. Experimenting with removing the telescopic aerial and connecting a standard FM wire aerial improves things a little bit, but not much.

Is there an indoor aerial I can connect up to this single wire? I don't understand how aerials work but I understand that some have both positive and negative connections.

Is it possible to use a powered booster aerial with DAB?

Response by poster: I live in rented property so fitting an outdoor aerial is impossible.

You're in the UK, right? Get down to your local Maplins and ask in there.

I was just at B&Q and thought about buying one of these. They had interior medium-gain DAB/FM aerials for £24.95. A bit expensive IMO. I think essexjan's Maplins suggestion is a good one. I am not sure about the wire vs jack, though. Is DAB cable just 75 or 300 ohm coax? It's basically a television antenna, innit?
